What I would do to live in a barn conversion in the country with huge high ceilings and exposed wood everywhere, or a cabin in Scotland overlooking a loch with massive windows bringing the outside in.
So on that note, I thought I would bring you some modern rustic spaces and decor to swoon over!

I love the modern rustic look. It looks so inviting; just makes you want to kick off your shoes, grab a large cup of coffee and curl up on the comfy couch with a great book.
There is something about the combination of "white" and "wood" that makes me feel connected. The light is so pure and the wood keeps it from seeming sterile and warms the spaces. LOVE these examples!

One of the things I love about the modern country look is that it encompasses so many different styles - modern rustic is LUSH!! I love it too!
